Journey through my professional life
July 2018 - Present
4 years
Accenture, Mumbai
Full-Time Job:
User Experience Design Analyst
Worked in a team to revamp and simplify a business tool that helps to make business strategy actionable. As a team, we gathered insights from the stakeholders and built a tool that can ease the complex process of business strategy.
Created a Feedback Portal for internal employees of Accenture, with Gamification incentive, of reward and achievement.
Senior User Experience Design Analyst
Through my years here, I have had experience in acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
Experience with UX design for complex workflows for technical customers.
Worked with stakeholders one on one, to recognize the requirements, plan, and execute programs that are strategic in nature.
I've had the experience of owning large-scale projects, communicating timelines, and executing independently.
Bank of America (my longest project - 18 months as of June '22)
-
I have been leading the design for a Bank of America application called EARC (Enterprise Architecture Road Mapping and Classification). This involved dealing with BofA clients directly and helping them convert a concept application on SharePoint to a functioning application.
-
EARC enables users to view classification and life cycle planning information through a variety of reports and lists. Users can find this information through keyword searches, column sorts, and filters or combinations of all three. The reports may be exported as lists directly to MS Excel and other formats of choice. Technology products are entered into EARC as a Product Manager and/or as EA Requests
-
-
Since May 2022, I have moved to another project, called EAW (Enterprise Architecture Workforce). This again requires me not only to focus on User Interaction and Experience but also on the Visual Design for the portal from scratch.
-
Thanks to this project, I was able to learn about making all the applications Accessibility friendly, and compliant with ADA Laws and making sure it is user-friendly for third-party accessibility softwares as well, which use screen UI to scan and read the page.
-
From being able to onboard new persons joining the project to teaching the members of the team about ADA compliance, I have been able to exemplify client-centricity and add value to client creations. Accessibility allowed me to give an unwavering commitment to inclusion and diversity.
-
I've had the chance to educate other members of my team on Accessibility and ADA compliance.
-
With my seniority in the project, I have been given the responsibility to interview various profiles and portfolios for the role of a UX designer.
-
-
Being a studio design representative for Accenture at Bank of America has given me the chance to demonstrate value-driven work culture - which involves working with developers from various organisations (outside of Accenture and Bofa).

About Myself
Hi! Once again. A little bit about myself outside of UX and UI...

It's me, Tanishka!
I'm a 26-year-old girl, who has been brought up in a Naval household - which has actively been a part of sculpting my interests.
I like to believe, that the rest is my own individuality and other experiences...

I've been a big fan of art since the beginning, which lead to my love for design. It all started with doodling on walls as a toddler!
The lack of same in school used to make me dread going, but I always enjoyed puzzles, figuring things out through deduction, and observing things to micro-analyse them.

Thanks to my father, I have gotten the liberty to try various sports. Since summer of '09 I have taken keen interest in horse riding and golf.

I enjoy reading, and also binging on shows and movies on OTTs, depending on how busy the day was. I appreciate a good classic film, that makes me feel connected to the time then.
I love a good cup of hot beverage on a rainy day with fairy lights on - pretty cliche, I know!
I also love cooking, baking, and getting my hands dirty with some DIYs.

Some Quirks:
My aesthetics strive to be Cottagecore (think "Anne with an E") and Dark Academia (see "Dead Poets Society")
I am bad at remembering names, and I enjoy a good nap!
